Description

Art Deco Inspired drawing from the 1950's on paper, from the extensive library of Collected Works by J Alexander™. A drifter who settled in California, artist Alexander lived a monastic life. He slept in a modest shed, studied his page worn handwritten scriptures and wrote music.

From memories of his world travels, he created hand drawn architectural works on paper by the light of a kerosene lamp...found tucked under his bed after he passed on in 1958.
