Dar Freeland Artist and Author Dar Freeland was born and educated in Los Angeles, California. In 1994, Dar and partner Brian Swanson moved their company Cricket Studio to Las Vegas; establishing their graphic design and illustration studio in the heart of the Las Vegas Arts District. Freeland specializes in design, illustration, cartooning and fine art acrylics on canvas. She also enjoys writing, photography and photo collage. She is passionately involved with work in brand strategy, film production and publishing. She maintains working studios in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, traveling regularly between both and to Clients around the world to execute and support various projects.
